We're a technology-focused company who believes in building great software to make advertisers and publishers more efficient and successful. We're a team of 18, mostly remote, with a small component of the team working out of our Boston HQ. We have tens of thousands of users, a growing product offering, and great stories that need to be told.

To date, we've relied on word of mouth. Our story is real, genuine, and compelling. People get it. But we need help spreading the word, and this is where you come in…

You're a marketer. A storyteller. You've been yearning for an opportunity to join a company who has a great background and a fantastic product, but lacks a marketing visionary. This is your chance. You will be the marketing genius behind BuySellAds. You'll bleed BuySellAds red; you will tell our story far and wide. You are outgoing. You know how to connect with busy journalists, and pitch a great story. You are eager to connect with happy customers to help spread their tale of success. What you will actually do:

  • Organize marketing activities and manage product launches from a marketing perspective.
  • Speak with customers to write case studies and uncover press-worthy stories from within.
  • Write copy for product sell pages on our website(s).
  • Work with trade journals/blogs, and write guest pieces to help spread the BuySellAds vision.
  • Attend industry events and speaking opportunities, to generate more brand awareness.
  • Fine-tune our lead flow, and improve conversion paths.
  • Build the marketing side of our business from scratch.


  • Desire to work with a highly skilled team.
  • Clear thinker, writer, and communicator.
  • Experience in online advertising and a general understanding of the landscape (or shall we say LUMAscape).
  • Success securing coverage, pitching, and having stories told in the press.
  • You are articulate, and politely aggressive.

Publisher Development

We're searching for a partner to help find and recruit awesome websites for the BuySellAds network, as part of a small but growing team within BSA.

The ideal candidate is social and can convey their personality through email. If you are cordial, well-written, and organized, we'll get along just fine. Solid networking skills and a basic knowledge of online advertising or website ownership are a huge help.

In This Job You Will:

  • Find and recruit the best sites on the web and help them get hooked up to our network through any means necessary (but mostly email)
  • Work as part of a growing team that has full control over the entire publisher process at BSA
  • Help us continually improve every aspect of the publisher-facing side of the company, with help from an awesome group of in-house designers and developers that can turn your ideas into reality within minutes (ok, days...)
  • Eventually attend recruiting meetings with specific publishers, or attend conventions as recruitment efforts ramp up

The ideal candidate:

  • Wants to work with a highly skilled team.
  • Is familiar with the basics of online advertising, either as an advertiser, or a publisher
  • Can write a damn good email
  • Is friendly and legitimately likes getting to know people better
  • Wants to work at a fast growing, bootstrapped, and profitable company
  • Enjoys working within a small group of highly talented folks vs. being a cog in a giant machine
  • Is a self-starter, doer; we don't micro-manage
